This decaying train station, swallowed by roots older than language, is watched over by a jury of bird-like sentinels with cold, glowing eyes and hair like withered crowns. They do not blink. They do not leave. They only judge. The tracks no longer lead anywhere known to man, and the blood trail? Well, that’s between you and whatever stepped off the last train.

The eerie blue glow of their eyes is the only thing lighting your descent into madness. That, and the suspicious orange glow leaking from beneath the roots like the earth itself is dreaming of fire.

Great for: nocturnal puzzlers, cryptid archivists, ex-train conductors with unresolved trauma.

Not great for: people who think birds are cute.

Hidden clue: the number of birds changes when you look away. Probably.
